The Guild
The Guild meets every other Tuesday in the Church Hall at 2.15pm.
A talk by an invited speaker followed by tea – this year’s topic is “to walk humbly with God”.
For meeting details, see the Guild Page.
Young People
On the 1st and 3rd Sundays of most months, we have two groups for children with games, activities, Bible stories and topics to explore:
The "Sunday School" for children aged 3 to 8 and "The Gallery Gang" for children aged 8 to 11.
On other Sundays (the 2nd, 4th, sometimes 5th Sundays) we provide a Sunday Club. (The Sunday Club involves various activities from games to drawing and painting.)
Each Sunday, children come to the All-Age Part of the Service at 10.30am, where we usually have a talk or a drama involving people. Children go out to their groups in our halls after the second hymn.
At least three times in the year, we do an All-Age Service on Sundays at 10.30am. Please see the church calendar for details.
On some Sunday afternoons, probably about once a month, we are planning with two other local churches to run Messy Church: This involves making things together, eating together and celebrating God together through stories from the Bible and music and prayer. It’s for children with their carers or parents. It’s more than just a fun event: it’s an opportunity to stop and reflect on what matters to us and to God.
